Abstract

This research investigates the assessment of sustainable practices in supply chain management (SCM) and their impact on overall organizational performance. As global awareness of environmental issues increases, businesses are compelled to adopt sustainable practices to mitigate negative ecological impacts while enhancing efficiency. The study evaluates various sustainable strategies, including green procurement, waste reduction, energy efficiency, and sustainable logistics. Through a mixed-methods approach, both qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys are employed to gather data from a range of industries. The findings reveal that organizations implementing sustainable practices not only improve their environmental footprint but also benefit from cost savings, enhanced brand reputation, and increased customer loyalty. Additionally, the research highlights barriers to implementing these practices, such as cost constraints and lack of awareness among stakeholders. The study concludes with recommendations for organizations aiming to integrate sustainability into their supply chain operations, emphasizing the importance of stakeholder collaboration and continuous improvement. By fostering sustainable practices, companies can achieve a competitive advantage while contributing to global sustainability goals.
